The love and detail that goes into good vacation rentals surpass many hotels, and is usually more unique and memorable. But it can, if that’s the experience a traveler is seeking! I feel like the rest of the world caught on to that trend a lot faster than we did.) I’m a big fan of the sharing economy when it comes to travel (Airbnb, VRBO, Grab, Lyft, Uber, Hipcamp, RVShare, WithLocals, you name it), and I have appreciated the Netflix shows like “ Stay Here” and “ Instant Hotel” have introduced people to the idea that Airbnb does not necessarily mean sleeping on someone’s couch for $10 because one can’t afford a hotel or hostel. (At least before they were cool in America.
I have loved staying in vacation rentals for years… before they were cool even.
